It was hand crafted in Rhode Island using the age-old art of foundry casting. During the process molten brass was heated to over 2000° F then carefully poured into a hand-made sand mold. This mold was used only once, giving your Door Knocker its individual character. Your Anchor Door Knocker has been hand polished and coated with a clear lacquer to protect its original polished finish. It has been signed by the artist, Michael Healy, to confirm its authenticity and quality craftsmanship.
