(3"H x 2"W x 1.25"D) The Lady Bug Doorbell Ringer was designed by Michael Healy, an accomplished Rhode Island artisan. This peaceful and beautiful creature brings good luck to wherever it lands. Michael thought it was an ideal symbol to display by your front door. The Lady Bug Doorbell Ringer is cast in solid bronze. It was hand-crafted in Rhode Island using the age old art of foundry casting. During the foundry casting process molten bronze is heated to over 2000ºF then carefully poured into a hand made sand mold. This mold is used only once, giving the Doorbell Ringer its individual character. The Lady Bug Doorbell Ringer was polished and its dark spots were applied by hand. She was then coated with a clear lacquer to protect her original polished finish. Michael Healy has signed this Lady Bug Doorbell Ringer in the mold, confirming its authenticity and quality craftsmanship.
