WELCOME TO THE BOROUGH OF COLUMBIA

YELLOW
"Welcome to the Borough of Columbia, our gem on the Susquehanna River.  The borough is alive with new and exciting projects from the Relocation of Route 441 out of our Downtown Business District to the Revitalization of the Historic Columbia Market House and the Safe Routes to School Project along 9th Street.
People are discovering the many fine dining and catering establishments in town, the treasures to be bought in our antique shops, the health and educational benefits of walking the Historic Lincoln Highway Corridor, and the fun of simply relaxing or boating on the Susquehanna River by way of our soon-to-be revitalized Columbia River Park.  Businesses and families are relocating to Columbia Borough, finding the small town atmosphere, small school educational benefits, and the historic homes and storefronts to be a welcoming and soothing change from city and suburban life.
The non-profit organizations in the Borough of Columbia, such as The Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce, Columbia Economic Development Corporation, and the Columbia Downtown Development Corporation, are partnering with the borough to develop a Strategic Plan for the revitalization of our community and especially, our Downtown Business District. Work will begin on the Central Business District this year."
