EMPLOYEE SCREENING C. J. Maintenance, Inc. carefully screen all prospective employees by implementing a three step process: 1. Each candidate must be personally interviewed by the area manager. 2. Each candidate must provide a clean police record which is verified by the area manager. 3. Each candidate must provide a list of references which are checked by the area manager. If not an U.S. citizen, each candidate must produce a green card, a copy of which is kept in the candidate's file.
ABSENTEEISM A back-up on-call team is always available in the event that any maintenance personnel are absent from work. Bonuses, incentives, and a premium hourly wages are offered in order to guarantee this on-call availability.

DAY AND NIGHT SUPERVISORS Responsibilities: • Supervision of all required tasks of the day/night shift and all necessary security checks. Maintain at all times a professional demeanor and inspect maintenance personnel for same. Daily/Nightly Tasks: • Check logbook. • Supervise and instruct all maintenance personnel and monitor progress of assigned tasks. • Review and take necessary action on problem areas discovered by maintenance personnel; monitor progress on special requests indicated in logbook. • Follow route as set up to inspect all tasks and make a written report on cleanliness of building.
DAY PORTER Responsibilities: • Performance of all housekeeping tasks as requested by the supervisor. Maintain at all times a professional demeanor. Daily Tasks: • Report to supervisor for daily task assignments and make written notes of any problems discovered during duty. • Adhere to all security and task procedure requirements as set forth by supervisor. • Assist or perform any special task assigned by the supervisor. • Perform all assigned tasks using the appropriate tools and products.
GENERAL CLEANERS Responsibilities: • Perform specific housekeeping tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Maintain at all times a professional demeanor. Daily Tasks: • Report to supervisor for daily task assignments or any special duty that has been requested. • Report any problems discovered to supervisor during cleaning route. • Adhere to all security and task procedure requirements as set forth by supervisor. • Perform all assigned tasks using the appropriate tools and products.
RESTROOM CLEANERS Responsibilities: • Perform all rest room tasks as requested by the supervisor. Maintain at all times a professional demeanor. Daily Tasks:
• Report to supervisor for daily task assignments or any special duty that has been requested. • Clean restrooms assigned as scheduled. • Report any problems discovered to supervisor during cleaning route. • Clean and sanitize fixtures, counters, and mirrors. Polish chrome, refill dispensers, empty trash and mop the floors. • Spot clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces removing smudges, stains and fingerprints. • Dust all high and low-reach areas. • Wash both sides of rest room partitions. • Clean and polish all bright metal work. • Wash all ceramic tiles. • Dust and clean all return air vents • Dust exterior of light fixture lenses and shades. • Clean wastebaskets as necessary. • Machine scrub all floors using a germicidal detergent.
TRASH REMOVAL Responsibilities:
• Remove all trash to designated areas. Maintain all times a professional demeanor. Daily Tasks: • Report to the supervisor for daily task assignments or any special duty that has been requested. • Report any problems discovered to the supervisor during trash removal. • Exercise great care when moving trash containers through building. • Remove all trash to dock area • Clean and sanitize trash-removing equipment. • Perform all assigned tasks using the appropriate tools and products.
