When do I need a business license?
The City of Gustine requires that you obtain a Business License before conducting business within city limits.

Where do I get a business license?
Business license may be obtained and submited at City Hall; 682 3rd Avenue.


How long is the business license valid?
Most businesses are on annual billing cycles.  Contractors may purchase a quarterly license for those projects that are estimated to last less than 3 months.

How much does a business license cost?
Costs varies by the type and location of the business.  Many businesses are on an annual billing cycle. Contractors may purchase a quarterly license for a project that is estimated to last less than three (3) months. Please see the fee schedule below. Rates for Business License:

 •   Annual Business License $100

 •   Quarterly License $30 / Resident
