Welcome! Boa Vinda! To Gustine, California
Home of the nation’s largest FESTA and steeped in Portuguese tradition, Gustine, California is located in the heart of the Central Valley. Gustine is situated approximately 15 miles north of Santa Nella and about six miles east of Interstate 5 on Highway 140.
Festivals and celebrations are held throughout the year, including the Fourth of July festivities in the summer and the Wolfsen’s Sausage Tasting Event in the fall. Residents are proud of a low crime rate and great schools, enjoying a quality of life that harkens back to a simpler, less complicated time.

Gustine’s Sister City:
Angra, or Angra do Heroísmo, is a municipality in Terceira Island in the Portuguese autonomous region of the Azores.
Situated on one of the islands in the Azores archipelago, this was an obligatory port of call from the 15th century until the advent of the steamship in the 19th century. The 400-year-old San Sebastião and San João Baptista fortifications are unique examples of military architecture. Damaged by an earthquake in 1980, Angra has now been restored.
