Hells Angels sue Laconia claiming rights were violated By Paula Tracy
LACONIA-members of the Hells Angels went to Belknap County Superior Court yesterday, claiming the Laconia Licensing Board violated the clubs constitutional rights by denying them bending permits for Bike Week.
Lawyers for the city said the decision is constitutionally valid, allowed under city ordinance and based not on suppressing free speech but on public safety concerns.
