The extreme duty cutter is a direct drive, 4 blade cutter that is available for low flow skid steers and can cut up to 6" trees. The high quality motor is a spline drive that connects into a 2 5/8" drive shaft. The drive shaft is retained by 2 massive 4.5" OD tapered bearings that are submerged in oil. The shaft is then welded to a 13" x 1 1/4" flange that is bolted with 10 bolts to the large blade carrying hub. This spreads out the pressure on the hub and eliminates relying on a single gearbox shaft with splines and a nut. Requires a minumum of 16 GPM and weighs 1450 lbs. the back of the cutter is cut-away for smoother operation and eliminates bunching under the deck. The drive assembly is protected by a steel cover and the deck is heavily reinforced. Comes with a 2 year warranty and couplers are included. Available in 60” (1250 lbs) or 72”( 1513lbs). Note: 4 blades available on the 72” version only.
