This line originates from Santa Barbara California and the bikes are designed by Jim Felt.  Jim has a different philosophy than other manufacturers.  He does not spend a lot of money on advertising but instead relies on the bicycles themselves and the shops to sell them.  Felt are now ridden by several top US and European pro teams.  See what all the hype is about.
