| Lawrence N. Berwitz has been practicing law since 1980. He is a graduate of St. John's University School of Law (1979) and earned his bachelor's degree cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany (1973).
Mr. Berwitz is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, serves on various committees of the New York State, Nassau County and Queens County Bar Associations dealing with trusts and estates, taxation, elder law and Surrogate's Court practice and is co-chairperson of the Nassau County Elder Law, Social Services & Health Advocacy Committee for the 2008-2009 term.
He has been a guest speaker on the radio, written numerous articles and lectured on issues concerning estate and retirement distribution planning, asset preservation and elder law to the public and for continuing education of accountants and other attorneys.
He is admitted to practice law before all of the courts of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. |

Admitted to practice in 1979, Maureen Rothschild DiTata earned her Bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo (1974) and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. DiTata received her law degree from St. John's University School of Law (1978). She is licensed to practice law before all New York State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and over the years has secured various pro hac vice admissions to practice in other states.
She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and serves on its Trusts & Estates and Elder Law Committees, and serves on related committees of the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations.
She also belongs to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, North Shore Business & Professional Women’s Association, American Business Women’s Association, The Garden City Assembly and the Garden City Chamber of Commerce. | |
| Before coming to the United States and earning her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, Olga Ruh obtained her certificate as a teacher of the English and German languages from the Pedagogical Institute of Moscow, Russia.
She was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2004. Ms. Ruh is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section, a member of both the Elder Law and the Surrogate’s Court, Estates and Trusts Committees of the Nassau County Bar Association, and a member of the Surrogate’s Court and Elder Law Committees of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
