I've got the Fifth Street Blues. I don't know what to do.  Mentally abused-my mind torn apart. I have to get out and make a new start. Where can I go to get out of this mess? I wish I were dead, that might be best.  Women in Crisis, what could that be?  Is there really someone out there who can understand and help me? Confused, afraid and feeling alone, I felt I had no life of my own. Surrounded with people who really care. They know what I'm going through because they've been there. I'm finding out just who I am. I like me a lot-I'm becoming whole again. I'm going to miss living here- you women are the best. But I'm getting stronger -my life must go on. So I'll come back to visit and for meetings-to fill you in on the rest. Thank you all for being my friends. I'm so happy I'm alive again                -S. Brown '98
