Marjorie Nolan, MS, RD, LD
Marjorie Nolan is a Registered Dietitian, she completed her dietetic internship and Masters Degree in Food and Nutrition Science from Indiana University of PA. Marjorie Currently works as head Clinical Dietitian at an acute care facility where she conducts nutrition assessments, dietary counseling, inpatient medical charting and constructs nutrition care plans on a daily basis. Marjorie is a skilled public speaker and group educator. She develops lesson plans and education tools that she teaches to various audiences ranging throughout the life span.
Marjorie worked as a sports nutritionist at Indiana University of PA during her graduate studies. On a daily basis she maintained the sports nutrition office for all undergraduate athletes. She provided meal plans, made daily food recommendations, conducted athletic team presentations and developed informational newsletters/bulletin boards. Marjorie has counseled individual athletes on nutrition, eating disorders and dietary supplement use.
Marjorie likes to take a holistic approach when working with clients, she believes that making a mind-body connection is the key to a successful healthy life. She uses behavior modification along with specific dietary approaches to guide her clients towards weight management and healthful eating.
Marjorie is an active member of the American Dietetic Association, Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN), and Nutrition Entrepreneurs. She is also currently studying to become an ACSM Health/Fitness instructor with over 400 hours of practical experience.
