|Welcome to Baltimore Main Streets!|
Baltimore City is a great place to do business and Baltimore Main Streets helps make small businesses even more successful. New jobs, new businesses, and renovated historic storefronts - these are just a few examples of how we work to revitalize Baltimore's neighborhood business districts.
Progress - Moving Forward for Baltimore
Baltimore Main Streets worked with the Enoch Pratt Free Library to offer the old Highlandtown Library for redevelopment. Located at 3323 Eastern Avenue in the heart of Highlandtown Main Street, once the new library opened, was ripe with opportunity for developers and business. Occupying prime commercial space, the property was awarded to the Southeast Community Development Corporation (SECDC) with plans for first-floor retail and upper-story office space for SECDC, allowing SECDC to move from their current rental property.
SECDC has made great strides in making this project a reality. Read more about this exciting community-driven project and monitor its progress right here!
