Deb Miller: 477-3700
Leeann Malacavage: 760-9432
These are the costume rules: 1. NO EATING IN COSTUME ***** 2. NO GLASSES OR JEWELRY. Wedding ring is O.K. if you would prefer not to take it off. 3. YOU MUST GET YOUR MAKEUP PUT ON BY THE MAKE-UP STAFF! 4. Each night when you get dressed in your costume, you must be checked and APPROVED by either Deb Miller or Leeann Malacavage before leaving for the staging area. 5. If you get anything on your costume, or it gets dirty in any way, see Deb or Leeann. DO NOT TAKE IT HOME TO WASH. SOME COSTUMES ARE NOT WASHABLE, OR HAVE WASH RESTRICTIONS! You could ruin it. 6. Each night, your costume will be checked out to you, and checked back in by a person heading up the dressing area for your group. All costume pieces must be carefully taken off, all pins removed AND SHUT! and all ties, knots, etc., untied. Please understand there are not enough hours in a day to have to figure out which costume a lone piece belongs to, and not enough washing machines and dry cleaners to clean big messes each night. 7. Costumes will be in the Rock Rec. Center. Go back to the Rec. Center following the last performance of each night to check your costume back in. THEN, YOU MAY GO TO EAT. 8. NO EATING IN COSTUME ***** WHAT IS TO BE WORN UNDER MY COSTUME? 1. First and foremost, it is winter, and you must keep warm. 2. Layer, layer, layer. 3. Insulated socks, wool socks
. and thermal underwear, long johns, etc. 4. Wool is very good, fleece, etc. Use layers that are not bulky. Absolutely NO down-filled things will be allowed. 5. NO HOODED ITEMS will be allowed. Take any bulky hoods off of your jackets. 6. Some costumes have head pieces that can be worn over a skull cap. If you have a skull cap in black, brown or navy, bring it along, and well check your costume to see if it is appropriate. 7. GLOVES: MUST be plain, solid color, & non-bulky. ANGELS have white gloves provided with the costume. VILLAGERS and SHEPHERDS can wear black or brown gloves. KINGS PEOPLE must wear BLACK gloves only. SOLDIERS wear BLACK or BROWN gloves. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN ITS BEST TO NOT WEAR YOUR GLOVES AT ALL, LIKE MARY OR JOSEPH, WHEN THEY ARE CRADLING THE BABY, OR THE SOLDIERS, WHEN THEY ARE BEATING JESUS, OR JESUS, WHEN HES HEALING PEOPLE, etc. The majority of you can stay in your gloves. 8. ANGELS must wear white under their costumes. Any color will show through. You need to layer your clothing with TIGHT items, nothing bulky. Then, put your costume on. BOOTS for Angels can be black, brown, or white. 9. SHEPHERDS and VILLAGERS wear black or dark brown under costumes. Boots can be Black or Dark Brown. 10. KINGS ENTOURAGE must wear BLACK under their costumes. Boots can be Black or DARK brown. 11. SOLDIERS are to wear BLACK ONLY under the costumes. YOU NEED BLACK SLEEVES (LIKE BLACK SWEATSHIRTS
) SINCE YOUR TUNICS ARE SHORT-SLEEVED. BLACK BOOTS or DARK, DARK BROWN. 12. No collars sticking up out of costumes. Black turtlenecks are acceptable. No sweatshirts with zippers up the front. ***** 13. JOSEPH: Tan, Brown, Hunter Green under costume. Boots in brown or black. 14. MARY: Beige/Tan under costume. Boots in brown or black. 15. NO EATING IN COSTUME ***** PLEASE DO YOUR BEST TO STICK TO THESE GUIDELINES. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, CALL US A.S.A.P.!!!!!!!!!!
May God Bless You All!!!
AND MAY HE BLESS ALL THE HARD WORK OF THE CAST AND CREW WITH SOULS SAVED AND LIVES TOUCHED THIS YEAR!! May we all hold our tempers, and realize that the next person is at LEAST as stressed as we are!
