Children's Ministries at Back Mountain Harvest are dedicated to teaching children ages infant through 12 years of age. A wide variety of programs, curriculum, and instructional practices are used to meet the needs of each and every child in the church. Teachers and volunteers instruct and lead students using methods such as object lessons, hands on teaching, skits, drama, puppets, and even entertaining characters.

It is our goal to make the church a place where the entire family can feel comfortable and be ministered to. All teachers must complete a thorough background check as well as complete a Child Abuse Prevention class. It is our opinion that to safeguard our classroom and event settings that two trained adults must be present at all times.

Together, with the help of parents and families we believe that we can train up the next generation to live boldly and undeniably for Jesus Christ. Your prayer support is always appreciated!

If you would like more information on any of these ministries or you desire to help, please contact Pastor Andrew.

Children's Church

Children's church is held each sunday during the 8 and 11 a.m. services. During this time students are challenged to pursue a life following Jesus with all of their lives. Many different teaching methods are used such as skits, object lessons, characters and puppets, and even experiments.

Students aged 6-8 years meet upstairs in the trailer just off of the back of the main sanctuary. Appropriate age level materials are presented to the students in various formats. Our goal is to effectively minister to and teach children to follow after God (Proverbs 22:6).

Students ages 9-12 meet downstairs in the corner classroom during the 8 and 11 a.m. services. The older students are presented with appropriate content based on their age. Much of these teachings are designed to help them take the next step as they move onto Youth Group at BMHA.

Wee Church

Wee Church is held during the 11 a.m. service in the upstairs classrom. Wee Church is designed to give children ages 3-5 a place to learn at their specific levels and to teach them biblical truths through age appropriate content. It is the goal of BMHA to partner with parents in teaching godly principles even at this early age.

Sunday School

Sunday School takes place from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. During this time, students are broken up according to their age groups in various classrooms. The goal of the hour long classes is to teach students practical ways in which they can grow and live for God in their everyday lives. A variety of different methods such as handouts and take home materials will help to reinforce the materials taught during class times.

Royal Rangers

Royal Rangers meets every Sunday night at 6:30 in the "Blue House." Royal Rangers is a program specifically catered towards reaching young boys and training them up at an early age to become strong men of God. By mobilizing, inspiring, and resourcing mentors, Royal Rangers offers character and servant leadership education to boys and young men (K-12) in a highly relational, fun, and interactive environment.

A wide variety of events such as camping, cook outs, fishing, and pine wood derbies are scheduled throughout the year.
