It's "NATURAL"

     Some time ago, one of our presbyters asked the question (regarding our district structure/Vision for Transformation process), "If we were starting from scratch with 900 credential holders in the Penn-Del District, how would we structure the district?
     Obviously there would be varied responses to that question, but there seemed to be consensus among many of us that it would probably not look like the status quo, and that we would structure something that was (1) organic, rather than bureaucratic and (2) would look like a movement more than an institution.
     It is with that goal in mind that the Catalyst Model has taken shape. Though we have been encouraged by similar models elsewhere, this model has arisen out of a few years of prayer and deliberation right here in our own district. Many of us think that it's just "natural".

PRACTICAL HOWs
AND WHATs:

1. Our Catalyst Group meets every six or seven weeks.
2. Teaching personal practicalities of leadership.
3. Sharing a regional vision!
      A) My joy is when you experience victory.
        (Translated Kingdom Expansion)
4. Personal Coaching.
      A) Mentoring, Prophetic insights, etc.
5. Book Reviews.
      A) Conferences, Speakers, Websites, etc.
6. Recasting the mission of the church.
      A) Kingdom Expansion vs. Church Growth
      B) Movement vs. Institution
7. Times of refreshing, renewing, and, YES!, impartation!

Catalyst Group Goals:

• Grow Godly, healthy leaders!
• Reproduction through new ministry-center openings, and rebooting small, struggling works!
• Creating a close association of leaders who together will accomplish God's work of Kingdom Expansion: locally, regionally, and world-wide!

Reminder to all Catalyst Group Members:
     Feel free to bring your Gym clothes with you if you'd like to  shoot some hoops, play racquetball, or work out at The Rock Recreation Center after the meeting.
