Katie is a wonderful, affectionate cat who is looking for a person (or people) to love her. Only about two years old, poor Katie didn't have an easy start in life--she was happy in a home when her family brought in a new cat. Katie and the new cat didn't get along, so Katie's family dumped her outside to fend for herself. We can't understand why they would do this, because Katie is very loving--she just adores being pet, is very social with humans, and loves to sit in a lap. When she is put in a new situation she can be a little shy, but she will soon warm up and show you her sweet side.

Katie is a small cat, and quite pretty. She has solid gray fur, like a Russian Blue, but the fur is long. It is a rare combination, and there is a newer breed of cat called a Nebelung which has been bred for exactly this look. Katie loves humans, but has never lived with dogs, and only lived with a cat for a very limited time. She does not appear to enjoy the company of other cats, so a home where she could be the only feline would probably be best. Click Here
