Dr. Jim Garfinkel, the owner, and currently the sole veterinarian of At Farm Veterinary Services, has been riding horses since he was two years old, sitting in front of his father.   Since then Dr. Garfinkel has ridden and trained horses in many disciplines including: Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter/Jumpers, Dressage, Eventing, Cutting, and even Thoroughbred Race Horses. Dr. Garfinkel is married to Katie, who in her own right, is quite an accomplished equestrian herself.  Katie has been successful showing horses her whole life. Whether in the Hunter/Jumper ring, eventing her great horse, "Solid Oak," or riding western pleasure horses, Katie's talent and love for horses is admired by many. Dr. Garfinkel and Katie have two wonderful daughters who have inherited their parents love and talents with horses.  Dr. Garfinkel's love for horses over the years, and his life long commitment to them, ensures that your horses will be treated by someone that understands them, and  knows how to handle a horse with respect and confidence.  In addition, you can rest assured that Dr. Garfinkel understands the discipline that you have chosen for you and your horse.
