Date Of Birth: October 29th, 1972 Current Home: Greenlawn, New York Occupation: Exercise Physiologist Sports: Cycling, Bodybuilding Michael Foresto sustained an above elbow amputation and a traumatic head injury in 1993. Michael has always had a passion for exercise and sports which did not change after his accident. His passion lead him to develop a device to allow upper extremity amputees to participate in a functional strengthening exercise program. This device was patented in 1997. Michael decided to pursue the sport of drug-free natural bodybuilding in which he competed against able-bodied competitors. Hip and knee arthritis has lead Michael to pursue athletic goals through the sport of cycling. Highlights: 2008 Competed in the Challenged Athletes Foundation 1/2 Ironman
