He was a Rugby Player in Argentina from 1974 to 2000. In August of 2002, he was in a car accident and sustained injuries to his left leg requiring amputation below the knee. Following his rehabilitation, Marcos continued his pursuit of sports but on a different playing field - the open water and roads of triathlons and road racing. Marcos continues to excel in triathlons in the sprint, Olympic distance and ½ Ironman competitions. As with many triathletes, one of my Marcos’ goals is to complete the Ironman and in November 2009, he will challenge the Ford Ironman in Panama City. Knowing his tenacity and his work ethic, Team A Step Ahead is sure that he will achieve this goal. Highlights:
