Lee began playing wheelchair tennis in January 2003. In 2006, his I.T.F. (International Tennis Federation) world ranking moved from 63 to 46, and he is currently ranked number 3 in Canada.  In 2006 Lee captured 3 ITF tournament titles. 
 
Last winter, he was the recipient of the Tennis Manitoba “Most Improved Player” award.  He was also named Tennis Canada’s “Most Improved Wheelchair Tennis Player of the Year” for 2005. In 2006 he was nominated by the Tennis Canada High Performance Committee to attend the 2006 ITF wheelchair training camp in the Netherlands. In addition to the above, he was also selected to represent Canada at the 2006 World Team cup in Brazil.  This past January, Lee was selected by Tennis Canada to the Canadian National Team for the second year in a row.
 
In 2007 Lee is scheduled to play 19 ITF tournaments around the world.  His 2007 goals include being the number one ranked wheelchair tennis player in Canada, and to qualify for the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing.
