 Ron Byquist, P.T.
Ron Byquist was born in Spokane, Washington in 1952. He grew up in the Spokane area until he was seven and then moved to the Wenatchee area. After graduating from Wenatchee High School in 1970, he went to college at the University of Washington in Seattle. He graduated from the school of Physical Therapy in 1974, and shortly thereafter, practiced for two years in the Longview, Washington area. After his time in Longview, Ron returned to the Wenatchee area to practice at Central Washington Hospital. At that facility, he served as a clinical supervisor then manager, coordinating the care of both in and out patients for the hospital. During this time, Ron attended Central Washington University for graduate school in Organization Development. He left the hospital in 1995, to join Associates in Physical Therapy with Doug Harris and Jack Stagge. He enjoys treating a broad spectrum of patients and has a special interest in geriatrics and chronic pain problems. Ron is married to Debbie Byquist and has two children, Brandon, and Alisa. He enjoys spending his spare time with his children and is interested in outdoor activities, such as fishing and hunting. He enjoys playing golf and especially enjoys yard work and gardening. Ron has participated in community activites including helping to supervise the physical therapy swim program at the Wenatchee YMCA, assisting with youth sports programs and participating on many boards throughout the community.
Doug Harris, M.S., P.T.
Doug Harris received his Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Physical at Brigham Young University, in 1985. He then received his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, in 1987, from Houston, Texas. Doug has practiced physical therapy in the Wenatchee Valley since 1988. He first worked at Central Washington Hospital for three years and then joined Associates in Physical Therapy, in 1991. Doug enjoys treating the entire spectrum of Orthopedic Physical Therapy, but has special training in Evaluation and Rehabilitation of Industrial Injuries. Doug has also been trained in evaluation of foot and ankle problems for orthotic therapy. Doug speaks fluent Spanish as he lived in the country of Uruguay for two years serving as a missionary for his church. He is married to Kerri Harris and has four children, Emily, Jessica, Lynette, and Jason. Doug enjoys hunting, jet skiing, motor cycle riding, and camping with his family.
Jack Stagge P.T., O.C.S., F.A.A.O.M.P.T.
Jack received his bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from C.S.U., in Fresno, in 1978. His postgraduate training includes extensive Manual Therapy training as well as spinal biomechanics and gait evaluation at U.S.C. Jack was chosen as a subject matter expert by the American Physical Therapy Assoication, in 1988, and was Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 1990, and recertified in 1999. Jack qualified for and passed the practical boards to become a "Fellow" of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2002. Jack has served as a consultant to the San Diego Padres, the San Diego Chargers, the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Association, and the U.S. Junior Olympic Basketball Association. He is director of International Manual Therapy Association and has lectured throughout the United States, as well as Australia. Jack has lived in Wenatchee, Washington, since 1992, with his wife, Holly Stagge, and their three children, Sarah, Heidi, and Justin. He also has two sons-in-law, John and Nick. He is active in his church and has served as a youth group leader for ten years. His hobbies include fishing, snow and water skiing.
Keith A. Franzen, MA, PT
Keith Franzen grew up in Northern Wisconsin apple country - Bayfield, WI. He earned his Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in 1993. He began working at Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA, from 1993 until 1996. There he worked as a staff PT, and eventually as the Coordinator of the Work Injury Rehab Center until 1996. He was also the team PT for the Yakima Sunkings CBA team for two years.
He then moved to Bellingham, WA, where he worked as the head of the Industrial Rehabilitation program for Physiotherapy Associates for 7 years. He treats a variety of orthopedic cases and specializes in the rehabilitation of injured workers.
He is married to Stephanie Franzen, and he has two sons - Matthew 19, and Armand 11. He enjoys racing Quarter Midgets with his son, hiking and camping with his family and playing in the great outdoors. He and his wife were active in the Bellingham area soccer community - both playing and coaching. He is also an avid NASCAR fan.
