“I've been going to Arona since they opened and I've never had so many compliments on my hair; I literally get stopped weekly and told that my hair really suits me and what a great cut I have...I can't take credit--I see the owner and tell her to do whatever she thinks will look good. I have a pixie cut right now but I've had a range of long to short over the years and its always looked great. It's also really easy to get to and the staff is super-friendly.”

The only minus is the parking can be a bit tight at times but you can park on the other side of the building so it's no biggie.”

"WOW! I actually found this place on Yelp and thought I'd give it a try since my husband is sick of me moaning about bad haircuts at cheap places. The atmosphere is warm and soothing, no loud music so it's relaxing. Jenn listened to what I wanted, and I left with the exact haircut I've always imagined and a load of confidence. Who would have thought you could get the haircut you ask for? Prices are reasonable and I would probably pay twice what it cost. What a fantastic find!!!! No need to even try anywhere else, I will be going here from now on..."

"I discovered Arona through Yelp and knew I had to come back and write a review as well. I've bounced around so many salons on the south shore & in Boston. I've always been at least satisfied with my cut, but never fully in love with the whole experience. Arona and specifically my stylist Jen has been my best salon experience to date.

I brought in a picture of the cut I wanted and knew it may be difficult to achieve as I'm growing out a graduated bob. Jen did a great job of listening to exactly what I wanted and got to work on an awesome cut that fits me perfectly. She was friendly and chatty throughout as were the rest of the staff. The salon is smaller, but extremely comfortable. The price is extremely reasonable and the hours convenient. I definitely recommend booking a visit."

I have had highlights by her a few times and she does an awesome job at giving you what you want. she will show you the colors before to make sure its what you want. I haven’t had anyone who does a better job. “I went in to get natural looking highlights as I have dark brown hair. She does a great job mixing warm caramel and honey colors into your hair..."

"I love this place! I moved to the Boston area back in February and have been searching for a great salon to get my hair cut. I got a hair cut and an eyebrow wax and was impressd with them both.

The prices are also very reasonable - about $45 for a cut and style and $15 for an eyebrow wax. I called on friday morning and they were able to fit me in that afternoon, talk about great service!

I will definitely be going back to Arona for all of my hair/waxing needs."

“I would try Jen at Arona Salon in Braintree. I have dark Asian hair and she was able to coordinate a few different shades that made me look very naturally… I almost wanted to go blonde but she told me that she would try to add in a few light honey colors and I loved it! She took the time to make sure it came out perfect! There is no bleaching involved which is good cuz that tends to dry out your hair.”
