Vocational Services
The objective of Vocational Services is to encourage independence through employment opportunities. Community integration is emphasized in all programs to improve each person's quality of life. Participants attend structured programs to enhance their potential for employment.
The Career Centers emphasize the development of skills for social, physical, emotional and vocational growth. Individuals have the opportunity to interact through task training, education and community involvement. Job exploration is offered through the Career Centers.
Supported Employment Services assist people who have developmental disabilities gain vocational skills and to develop a greater independence by working at area businesses. A job coach assists them with every aspect of the employment process, and offers support throughout their employment.
